Japanordic

Who we are

Japanordic (Mika Yasuoka ApS) is a research, business and advisory centre focusing on Nordic countries with a special focus on Denmark and contribute to social innovation and policy proposals in Japan from a neutral standpoint.  Our consultants are either MA or Ph.D holders on their own research areas, ensuring high quality outputs. The strength of our team resides not only on each consultants’ specialized fields, but also with the additional knowledge in Nordic social/political/business related areas, which are cultivated by being in Denmark with the Nordic language fluency. With our networks constantly expanding in Denmark, we can offer high quality consulting services from the local perspectives.

Services we provide

With our unique and locally grounded skills and broad network we have in Nordic countries, we provide services from strategic design, market, research, business supports, translation/interpreter to seminars in a variety of fields related to the Nordic countries. We are continuously looking forward to establishing new innovative projects together with you for creating a bridge between Nordic countries and Japan.
Our clients vary from public organizations to private companies, such as METI (http://www.meti.go.jp/english/), MIC (http://www.soumu.go.jp/english/index.html), MAFF (http://www.maff.go.jp/), Nomura Research Institutes, SONY, TOSHIBA, NTT, Saga University and others.

  1. We offer information and knowledge related to Nordic countries from not only the positive aspects, but also how they approach the societal problems.  
  2. We send out insights of Japanese national and business culture to Nordic countries.
  3. We provide the fundamentals for people in business and research, and bridge between Japan and Nordic countries.
